I recently spent some time in the city just walking around, snapping photos. I probably have 200+ pictures of the people, the sun going down (the colors that develop in the city, not the sky) and of course the street and street lamps. The time and energy spent trying to capture the mood in which I strive to put on canvas was SO well spent and I now have inspiration for months to come!
