I recently completed this piece as a gift for my sister. She’d been talking about a painting for her office for well over a year. During that time, I’d been taking mental notes of what she really seemed drawn to in my recent work (like all of that heavy texture ) and then tried to combine those elements into something that I hoped she’d love!
This is the largest one-piece painting that I’ve done to date being 3’high x 4’wide. The diptychs measure a bit bigger but it’s a very different feeling approaching a huge white one piece canvas! I was a little intimated at first but once I got in, things just flowed and I’m certain that you’ll be seeing more large-scale paintings in the future!
