Typically I have a minimum of two paintings in process at one time (in each studio) but there are times that I get over excited and find that I have WAY too many pieces started at one time! When this happens a couple will end up set off to the side and eventually scrapped /I’ll completely start over or save bits and pieces of the scene and go a different direction with it.

I was going through my ‘scrap pile’ of canvases the other day and found a wonderful surprise!! I started this piece months and months ago but then ended up having a focused deadline with a gallery, so I set it aside. Somehow she ended up near the back of the stack and I completely forgot about her. After one long and inspired sitting, here is Her Journey.
