As a visual artist one of the challenges (and the exciting parts) is trying new things within your work. I paint a lot of street scenes at night but in keeping things fresh and interesting, I constantly challenge myself to look at things from different angles…or just mix them up a bit. I obviously love exaggerating my light sources – even in my landscapes. This scene has the street lamps that show up often in my work along with head and tail lights but then just distant shimmers from the cityscape in the background.
