I go through cycles with painting where I strive to tighten or loosen up some of my work. I’m always experimenting and consistently trying new techniques to keep things interesting for both me and the viewer. I’m currently in the loosen-it-up mode. Through a recently new approach I feel some of my work has shown me that I don’t always have to ‘color inside of the lines’.
