I obviously LOVE painting with a grayscale palette but sometimes it’s fun to mix / brighten things up a bit. I started this piece months ago and then it sat there….and sat there. I picked it up again about a week ago, and approached the basic lines of the scene in a completely different way than when I had started out. This time I laid the paint in with a knife and used a thickening agent that I’ve been having a lot of fun with lately!
