I’ve recently been playing with a number of different color combinations (some still in process )… But it’s interesting to me that in this new piece, I used the exact same palette that I did in Longing for Home and the feel of the painting is completely different… Breaking Through was also created in a very inspired fashion, painting quickly and instinctively, then going back on the second sitting to add details and make a few minor changes.
