Chance Meeting is my most recent painting and # 3 of 10 to come in the near future. A year or so back, I painted a black and white street scene and have been meaning to experiment more with the black and whites. I love the way that small amounts of color, especially reds can add so much to this style of work. This piece has splashes of red on the building where the two people with red umbrellas are to end up. This is a 24″x24″ acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas painted with a pallet knife. The surface image continues onto the canvas edges, making framing optional. You can see a larger picture on my site (artbydjh.com).
