I started this painting some time back with a vision of exactly what I wanted it to be but I ended up having to set it aside. I picked it back up recently and instinctively went to paint that original vision I had in my mind. But it just wasn’t coming together…. Then I decided to just play with it, without doing too much thinking at all and to let the scene develop. Not only is that my favorite way to paint (without a plan)! But I like the end result waaay more than the original ideas I had for it!
