Above are two recent creations…
The first photo shows my continued efforts to play with new color combinations and perspectives in my work. I stepped outside of my norm with a recent order through Dick Blick (one of my favorite supply shops) buying some bright and bold colors that I hadn’t yet experimented with. Out of that came Blue Reflections, a 24″x36″ acrylic.
And I can now reveal painting #10 of 10 in my personal challenge. A number of months back I was contacted by someone who wanted me to create a painting for his bride-to-be as a wedding gift. (How romantic!) We shared ideas back and forth so that I had an understanding of the message he wanted to express to his fiancé. With their permission, you’ll have a small private view into their world through From this Day Forward.
