We had such an amazing time at the Spring Unveiling Arts Festival this year. I met so many great people and was delighted to see so many familiar faces.
I painted Nightfall during my demo in the gallery, a 24×30 Acrylic created with a palette knife.
DragonFire Gallery presented a group show titled Being Human with over twenty participating artists. I created three pieces for the show:
Glow of the City, which has an urban backdrop and is (to date) one of only a few pieces created without an umbrella.
In Pieces is a mixed media painting using collage. The umbrella was created out of maps and classic car magazines, and the woman’s clothing from sheet music.
Urban Energy II was primarily done with transparent paint, building up layers to allow some of the initial paint to show through and some not.
