A couple of months back I submitted three of my street scenes to Still Point Gallery’s themed show, Sacred Time – Sacred Place. I’ve been so busy lately that I had forgotten about it until I received an email from the gallery owner. Here’s what she said about my submission.
I have selected you to be one of the Artists of Distinction in the upcoming show, “Sacred Time – Sacred Place.” The pieces you submitted are really wonderful; the person with the umbrella walking in the city…an image of wandering and searching that has much to say about both time and space. Really great! I’m very pleased that your work will be part of this exhibition. And as an Artist of Distinction, you will have the opportunity to show more of your art as a Gallery Artist.” (And other details followed).
So if you have the opportunity, please check out the exhibition on line (Please note one of these pieces are miss-priced – a correction is coming).
Also, Chemistry is my latest street scene painting. It’s a 24×30” acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas.
