I go through stages to where I just LOVE painting on a textured canvas! I work with texture mediums in one of two ways… either I know exactly what I want the scene to look like and I apply it based on the scene OR I spread it randomly which creates this unique element of surprise (for me) throughout the process. In the second case, I’m never quite sure what the end result will be. This was the case in the two new pieces above.
