I have just returned home after visiting family in California. I brought my travel easel with me and spent a number of hours painting outside (which I LOVE and is just not always possible here in Portland). I completed The Lady with the Red Umbrella and have one more piece in process. It’s hard, this time of year, to fit painting into my day – but it’s my goal to have the next one completed well before Christmas.
