Above is a photo of my most recent painting Walking Home. A 24″x24″ acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. It’s funny – I have two other pieces in progress but I had an idea for this one that was just stuck in my head and I couldn’t get past it. So in two days – start to finish – it’s now off of my mind and onto the canvas.
I constantly try to look at things from a new vantage point when painting. I love to do the scenes that draw you through the street but this was a fun change to have my lady reaching her destination. The winter style trees, that have already lost their leaves, also adds something a little bit different. Hope you enjoy!
